Sew In The Mood carries a variety of unique Fabrics, Notions, Patterns as well as supplies to assist with creating your projects. Please feel free to e-mail anytime for an answer to your questions or contribute suggestions to make our shop better.

Fabrics are specially cut from bolts to fulfill your sale; therefore, we cannot accept returns on cut goods.  Cancellations are accepted prior to cutting fabrics only. We accept exchanges to replace any item deemed defective.

Should there be an excess shipping charge we automatically issue a refund via the method you used to pay.

If an item is defective please contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of notification.

• Items on sale and clearance or from destash are not returnable or exchangeable.
If we, the seller, has made an error or the item is defective exchanges are happily made. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please e-mail with any other questions.


Payment is expected at time of purchase unless other arrangements have been made. The preferred payment method is Paypal or credit card. Please e-mail first if you would like to pay by money order or personal check. If payment is made by money order or check your order will be filled promptly after cleared payment
Our Fabrics are cut specifically to your order; therefore, all Sales are final unless there is a mistake at our end. We do our best to rectify our mistake.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please e-mail with any other questions.


USPS First Class and Flat Rate Priority Mail is our shipping method. Shipping is combined on multiple orders. If for any reason there is an over-payment on shipping we will happily refund once your order is calculated and shipped. Credits for shipping overages are made by the method used in placing your order.

Fabrics and supplies ship within 2 days of cleared payment unless the post offices are closed due to weather, holidays or weekends.

Additional policies and FAQs

The pictures of fabrics listed in this shop are from the manufacturer. We do not know your monitor or computer settings; therefore, we have no control over slight color deviations as they appear on your screen.

Batiks are hand dyed fabrics and may also have slight color deviations from the manufactures provided swatches. We try to make a comment if we see any notable color differences.

We cannot be held responsible for the delays the United States Post Office has had for the past several months. Most often the packages are arriving in a timely manner but we cannot guarantee the jobs of others. The United States Post Office will not consider a package as lost until it has exceeded 30 days since confirmed shipment.

 Payment is expected at time of purchase.

Fabrics are cut specifically to your order; therefore, all Sales are final.
